Sorry that it has been so long since the last post, I've been busy lately. This picture is actually old. I just haven't put it up yet. My team won the Championship game in Winslow on Saturday March 1st. We won it by beating Winslow. To be honest with you, it was actually a pretty boring game. There was hardly any intensity in it. The game that we played before that however, was EXTREMELY intense. We were playing Holbrook and only won by 3 points. Everybody's vocal chords hurt before the Winslow game from screaming in the first game. you should have seen how it was for the girl who scored the last points, she couldn't even breathe from everybody all around her. We even tried to lift up our smallest player, but she was moving too much for that to happen.
Dustin got back from Washington D.C. on Sunday March 2Nd. He got a letter in the mail for a program that, at your expense, you get to go with a lot of other kids from all over the country to Washington D.C. and visit the monuments there. It's supposed to influence the kids to work there when they grow up. In this picture, we were at a combined family home evening. He's speaking about what it was like for him to go there. The program is called the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security. He was the Secretary of Press for his group. Approx. 360 high school youth attended. He was there from Feb. 26-Mar2. The Family Home evening night was on March 10. They attended classes each morning and evening and went to specific sites and tours during the daytime.
These are just the cousins during the joint Home Evening. As you can probably tell, David thought it would be funny to get out of the picture. Well.... it didn't really work out.

And then the adults, who liked it apparently.

This is Dustin with some of his merchandise from Washington D.C. He got the shirt and the replica in his hands from there. In the replica, you can see the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the U.S. Capitol and the Washington Memorial.

Congratulations Chantelly on your championship game. Sounds like a lot of fun!
I am glad you posted some pictures of Dustin's trip. I was hoping you would. Maybe you can try your hand at doing a slideshow of Dustin's pictures from his trip so I can see some more! :) Very impressive Dustin to talk the whole evening. Wish we could have been there.
Love the blog design... our family is forever!
Pretty much dido to everything Maria said. Let me know if you want me to help you do a slide show. You don't need to put all 200+ pictures on, but we'd like to see lots of them.
